Synonym Shop

At VERO Gallery, we believe art shouldn’t just live on gallery walls; it should be part of everyday life. That’s why we’re excited to partner with Synonym Shop, transforming this vibrant Hamilton café-bistro into a satellite exhibition space for local and emerging artists.

Located in a warm and welcoming neighbourhood setting, Synonym Shop brings together coffee, food, conversation, and art. Through our partnership, the VERO Gallery curatorial team thoughtfully selects and presents rotating exhibitions throughout the space, giving artists the opportunity to share their work with an active and diverse community beyond a traditional gallery setting.

As guests enjoy specialty coffee, fresh pastries, brunch, sandwiches, and other offerings, they can experience a changing selection of contemporary artwork in a relaxed and accessible environment.

For artists, exhibiting at Synonym Shop offers an opportunity to have their work seen in a space where people naturally spend time, connect, and discover something new.

Whether you’re stopping in for coffee, meeting a friend for lunch, or simply taking a moment to look around, there’s always a chance to encounter something unexpected.

Come for the coffee, stay for the art.
