This body of work explores painting as catharsis. The series emerged from a desire to step away from outcome-driven thinking, to instead inhabit a state of flow, where the act of making becomes its own purpose. While reaching a state of calm is the intention, my process itself is often restless.
The exhibition opens on February 1 and runs through March 14.
